Warm Brown
OverviewThe yarn is soft, lofty with a natural crimp, wonderful lustre, and subtle halo. Corriedale/Gotland wool is naturally grey which, when combined with the higher proportion of Corriedale wool, produces a light grey yarn that dyes up into beautifully rich heathered colours with a gorgeous sheen.
The Gotland is an old long-haired breed of sheep originating from the island of Gotland in Sweden. The sheep has long, lustrous locks and the spun yarn is light and warm with a wonderful drape and subtle halo. Corriedale wool also has a long staple, with a beautiful crimp that makes it naturally springy. Much loved for its cosiness, durability and next-to-skin softness, Corriedale is a great all-purpose yarn.
