January… such a dark, cold and dreary month. The festive season spent with family, friends and loved ones, is over. Back to school, work. Back to normal. Why not spice it up with sparkle and joy and get through this dreary month pleasantly!

What is the Blue Winter Sock Month?

In January you will receive a parcel with yarny gorgeousness in your mailbox. Something to really look forward to!  You can start knitting right away as a knitting pattern is included.

What’s included in The Blue Winter Sock Month kit?

  • 4 or 5/6 x 100gr. or 4 or 5/6x 140gr. (100gr. skein + 2x 20gr. mini) in merino sock, bfl sock, HT merino sock or basic sock yarn (a basic sock set is 150gr.);
  • Sock knitting pattern;
  • Themed goodies, exclusively handmade and selected for each mood board;

There are two different yarn options:

  • Wolbeest merino sock (75% sw merino – 25% nylon); 100gr./425m. 
  • Wolbeest BFL sock (75% sw BFL – 25% nylon); 100gr./425m. 
  • Wolbeest basic sock (75% sw virgin wool – 25% nylon); 100gr./420m. 
  • Wolbeest HT merino sock (80% sw merino – 20% nylon); 100gr./365m.

How do I order this kit?

First, you click on 'Blue Winter 2026' and to select your yarn base and the amount of skeins from the drop down list on your right. Then you select the colourways you fancy and put them in your shopping basket. After that you check out.

When will the kit be shipped?

Between the 22nd and 28th of January 2026. 

If you order other items together with this yarn kit, then please note that these will ship together. Should you want to receive these items earlier, then order these items separately please. This is a pre-order and will not ship until the above mentioned date! As soon as the parcel is shipped you will receive an e-mail with a t&t.

What colours can I expect?

Inspiration for these colourways are the accompanying moodboards. You may expect variegated and/or speckled yarns. The pictures are of course an indication, the real magic often happens while dyeing. I use these colour schemes for inspiration and this is very subjective and also a matter of taste. My interpretation might be completely different from your ideas or opinions. Buying a 'mystery' kit is always a risk. Just go for the surprise!
